Biscuiteers Gin & Tonic Biscuits

Biscuiteers have mastered the art of gin in biscuit form

London-based Biscuiteers have been taking the iced biscuit world by storm since 2007. Their delectable biscuit treats have featured many much-loved British characters, from Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit to the stars of the Mr Men and Little Miss series of books. Their gingerbread recreations of Buckinghamshire’s Waddesdon Manor and Kent’s Leeds Castle have also brought some of the UK’s treasured historic houses to life in edible form. They even created a special GREAT biscuit to celebrate International Biscuit Day!

When it comes to celebrating British icons, gin and tonic is no exception. Biscuiteers have created their own delicious biscuit version of this classic cocktail – perfect with a cup of tea!

Fortnum & Mason Gin & Tonic Tea

Perfect for an afternoon cup of tea with a twist…

Perhaps the only drink more iconically British than a gin and tonic is the cup of tea – but what happens if you combine the two? Legendary London department store Fortnum & Mason decided to do just that, combining green tea with real juniper berries and handpicked botanicals including coriander, fennel and lemon balm to put the tea in G&T in the most literal sense.

Their Gin and Tonic tea brings all the excitement of a G&T at any time of day, combining tradition and innovation to put a new spin on the nation’s favourite timeless tipple.

Joe & Seph’s Gin & Tonic Popcorn

Back in 2013, ,Joe and Seph’s Gourmet Popcorn created the world’s first gin and tonic popcorn. Made with 5% real gin and 5% crisp tonic water, and handcrafted in the company’s London kitchens, Joe & Seph’s have used classic G&T flavours to give their popcorn a thoroughly British feel.

“As Brits our love for a classic G&T seems to be everlasting – and honestly who can blame us?” says Joe of Joe & Seph’s, which is celebrating its 10th birthday this year. “A G&T is sophisticated, no fuss to assemble and, crucially, can be enjoyed come rain or shine!”

Gin and tonic that really pops!

Bompas & Parr Lightning Gin

Great British weather as you’ve never seen it before…

Love it or hate it, there is no denying that the weather is one of our most-discussed topics here in the UK! While it might not always be sunshine and rainbows, our Food is GREAT ‘Spirited Forecast’ event in Japan in 2019 reclaimed some of the most dramatic parts of our great British weather forecast in drink form.

For one night only, the British Embassy in Tokyo was transformed into a microclimate of British weather and produce. Multi-sensory experience design experts Bompas & Parr created a range of fascinating interactive exhibits, including a Northern Irish gin whirlpool and Scottish gin lightning, allowing guests to explore, smell, hear and taste the best of UK gin. Cheers to that, we say!
